About the Event

Dear Friends,

Research teams thrive on challenging, debate and constructive conflict. Too often, destructive conflicts also appear, with competition, ego’s, status and abuse of power and a bottom line mentality in a push for results.

Using the constructive potential, and preventing and intervening in destructive conflicts in research teams is the central topic of our next E4C event. What competences are needed to do so, at institute level, by senior scholars who lead the teams, and by junior staff and PhD students in dealing with sensitive issues.

  •  Around 50% of PhD students in OECD countries discontinue their dissertation. Mainly due to problems with their supervisor.

Program: October 13th, 2021 from 16:00 - 18:00 (CEST) Virtual
