When FIFA 23 arrives in September 2022, will Microsoft's subscription service provide EA's football simulator? Here, you'll find every last detail.
Fans can hardly wait to get their hands on FIFA 23 and check out the new Ultimate Team and Career Mode features that EA has been promising.
Many exciting new additions, such as the FUT Moments mode and crossplay compatibility, are on the horizon. Of all, not everyone can afford to drop $60+ on a brand new video game.
It begs the question, then, of whether or not FIFA 23 will be included in the Xbox Game Pass library.
In other words, will Xbox Game Pass subscribers be able to play FIFA 23?
When Xbox Game Pass debuts on September 30th, unfortunately, FIFA 23 will not be available. Game Pass subscribers may be able to play the game in the future, so everything is not lost.
Game Pass Ultimate users also receive EA Play games thanks to EA's long-standing partnership with the service. Because of this, the few previous FIFA games are now available for download on Game Pass shortly after their initial release.
Publisher uncertainty aside, it seems likely that FIFA 23 coins will join its predecessors (FIFA 19, 20, 21, and 22) on EA Play and, by extension, Game Pass.
It's important to remember that FIFA often doesn't show up on Game Pass until a few months after the game's initial release. In the past, FIFA has been added to Game Pass shortly after release (May for FIFA 21 and June for FIFA 22), so it is reasonable to assume that FIFA 23 will not be added until the game is nearing the end of its life cycle (September for FIFA 22 and May for FIFA 23).
